LI-V is led by women and men who have given years, in some cases decades, to the pro-life cause, to Georgia's churches, and to moms and families in crisis. Here is a bit about who they are.
Suzanne founded LI-V out of a deep conviction that the local church has the opportunity to educate and equip on life issues through regular meetings and that the local church should be a place a mom in crisis can turn for real help. For more than a decade she has counseled women at a local pregnancy resource center, and together with her daughter Rachel Mary, she leads the Marietta 40 Days for Life and Sidewalk Advocates for Life ministries, organizes LI-V's monthly gatherings, and trains churches across Georgia to engage the life issue with compassion and action.
Suzanne has testified and lobbied at the Georgia Capitol for pro-life legislation, served as President of Cherokee County Right to Life, and is on the advisory board of ATTWN. She and her family's story have been featured on Fox & Friends, Focus on the Family, LiveAction, and the Glenn Beck program.
Suzanne lives in Marietta with her husband, Peter. She often speaks about the church living out the Good Samaritan story: not passing by, but stopping to show real compassion to every neighbor: mom, baby, and family alike.
Rachel Mary co-founded LI-V's Care Team and has been a pro-life voice since her teenage years, when she began serving at a crisis pregnancy center and leading 40 Days for Life campaigns in Marietta. She testified before the Georgia Legislature in support of the LIFE Act and continues to lobby at the Capitol for pro-life legislation.
Rachel Mary has shared her story of hope with national media including Fox & Friends, LiveAction, and Focus on the Family, and received the Sue Thayer 40 Days for Life Leader of the Year award in 2022. She has her Master's in Bioethics from Trinity International University and has traveled to Uganda, Nicaragua, Israel, England, and Ireland to share the gospel and messages of hope and life.
