Discipleship is in the DNA of what LI-V does
Getting Involved
Our two main purposes:
- To educate and equip the body of believers on sanctity of life issues through regular meetings and other events and to inspire ALL to engage in ways to take immediate, compassionate action in all areas of life.
- To serve women and families in challenging situations to demonstrate that the church is the place to run to for real hope and help. To offer lifelong friendships, discipleship, and connection with churches where desired.
Pray with us!
Our prayer is to be a presence inside and outside of the church living out the reality of the gospel and the Good Samaritan example of loving our neighbors as ourselves, and we pray this is exemplified in this ministry. We are open to all people passionate about the sanctity of all human life in all stages of life, we partner with churches to be a resource to those who find themselves in unplanned pregnancies, crisis pregnancies, and who have had an abortion experience with hope, healing, and beyond. We help pregnant moms and families with tangible aid like childcare, rent, supplies, housing, and more, during and after pregnancy.

What we do
Our Services

Serving Mothers & Children
Just as Jesus meets us exactly where we are and climbs into our life circumstances and challenges, our LI-V™ care team engages with moms following Christ’s example. Jesus also takes us to higher ground and the LI-V care team helps these precious moms and families get to higher ground through building friendships, offering practical help, and tangible action steps that encourage and bring hope.

Providing Connection
LI-V connects local churches with pregnancy resource centers and sidewalk outreach groups to better serve women and families in crisis pregnancies and for the long haul. We see the local church as the best place for moms in crisis to turn for real help and hope even if they are not church attenders.

Finding Homes
Housing is often a very real issue for moms in crisis. LI-V has many maternity home resources as well as has helped moms pay for one month of rent to help them get back on their feet and have some breathing room for a month as well.

Offering Resources
At every LI-V meeting, many ministries and organizations in Georgia are spotlighted to increase awareness of potential resources to better serve and love moms. LI-V leadership has relationships with these many Georgia resources, which we are happy to share. Many moms come to LI-V for resources, as do many churches and related pro-life groups.
What Drives Us
Our Mission
LI-V exists to:
- Glorify God, and make the Gospel known, founded and grounded in prayer as a lifestyle
- Engage, educate, equip, and train the body of Christ to take compassionate action
- Live out the example of the Good Samaritan to all in word and deed by giving hope, help, resources, and opportunities to take meaningful and compassionate action.
- Be that specific response and space in a post-Roe world (and long before Roe was overturned) to show our communities there is a space and place of warmth, friendship, and real help within the church for moms in crisis that specifically serves and meets them at their greatest point of need and beyond.
- To show a lost and hurting world that the church is the place to run to for moms and their families in complicated situations.
We do this by connecting moms with the church/body of believers to find friendship, discipleship, love, hope, compassion, and REAL help.
Our Goal
- Is for women to see the church as the place to go for meaningful hope and help. We pray for a LI-V ministry in every church so that women and families see that in a post-Roe world, the church is ready to step in and step up and be the place of hope and real help.
- Is for partnerships all over Georgia so that women and families and communities and PRCs know that they can call their local church and ask if there is a LI-V group to connect moms and families with their local church for tangible help, friendship, and hope in the journey for the long haul.

LI-V Stories
Our clients have so many needs (i.e. food, transportation, child care, support, etc.) that would be best met by the body of Christ and could be long-term relationships… something we can’t offer. Cultivating a lay contact, within the church who is trained on how they can participate. One of our advocates saw this need and began a group called LI-V (Life Initiatives & Values™) in her church to educate the body on life issues, which meets monthly. In addition, she has worked with me, the Community Care Coordinator, and allowed me to make referrals to her and the group which has resulted in salvation, church membership, and individual mentoring these clients’ needs is essential. Since she has done this, I have used her and the group as a resource, making referrals for mentoring, baby showers, financial needs, and even one client who received a much-needed car!
Since RVW was overturned people within the church body are eager to be engaged in loving and providing for our client’s needs. The biggest challenge is providing a way for them to do that… something “hands-on” not just financial & prayer support. I’ve found that this new group idea, LI-V™ is meeting that need for the church, our clients & referrals. LI-V™ is different from other programs… in that its focus is on engaging the body of Christ in life issues and as people learn about this issue they want to become personally involved through volunteering, giving, AND MENTORING individual clients who I refer. So far it has really been exciting to watch and has now spread to a second church in our area. I was told that the GA Baptist Convention has adopted LI-V as an initiative that they would like to see in all the Baptist churches in GA! What a blessing that would be to the PRCs in GA!
On May 19, 2022, we referred a mom who chose life instead of abortion outside the Marietta Planned Parenthood to our church through our LI-V ministry where she received childcare help for three months. The childcare was paid in full to the childcare facility, and the gospel was shared. The incredible testimony is that she RECEIVED JESUS! We have thrown this mom a baby shower, taken her to lunch and breakfasts and call her regularly and she is now a dear friend.
I called several churches and no one could help me until I called a church that said there is a group that helps moms called LI-V. I called them and they made me cry. I even joked, although I was not joking, that I wanted to put them in my will because I had no idea so much help and support was out there. They continue to help my son’s girlfriend in her pregnancy with friendship and MANY practical items like finding housing, help with getting connected to a pregnancy resource center in our area, ideas for pursuing jobs and so much more and most of all being that friend I can call daily for advice and a shoulder to lean on and I even got to meet with one of their members for dinner and sweet conversations of hope.
