Suzanne Guy

Founder & Leader

Bio

Suzanne Guy has a passion for proclaiming the gospel and helping everyone recognize that abortion is the greatest human rights issue of our day. Suzanne shares that everyone has a role to play to end this human rights issue of our day and she works tirelessly to educate and equip the body of believers to take immediate, compassionate action. Her heart is that women in unplanned and crisis pregnancies and teens at risk are given hope and real help/resources and encounter the love, hope, and compassion of Jesus. Suzanne founded a ministry, Life Initiatives & Values (LI-V™), to help connect women in crisis to the church/body of believers to see the church as the place to go for real help and real hope.

Suzanne is a Georgia grassroots leader having organized and led with her daughter MANY life chains, countless pro-life events, lead pro-life trainings and door knocked for legislators and for SBAList and Greater Georgia and both speak at conferences, banquets, churches and political functions sharing there is a need for all to engage in love in the sanctity of life issue from womb to tomb with a special heart for women in crisis and for those in the womb and especially those the medical field says to abort due to a prenatal diagnosis.

In addition to speaking at various pro-life events (like PRC banquets) and at churches with her daughter all over Georgia and out of state, Suzanne also counsels women at a pregnancy resource center and has for over 11 years and loves it.

Suzanne also helps to lead the Marietta 40 Days for Life 365 campaign with her daughter, Rachel Mary, offering hope and help to moms going into the abortion clinic and referring them to their local PRCs and they also both lead in Marietta for Sidewalk Advocates for Life as well.

Suzanne started a pro-life group at her church called Life Initiatives and Values/LI-V™ that is a ministry for all people who are passionate about being educated and equipped on life issues AND to help pregnant moms both while pregnant and long after to receive friendship, discipleship, and practical help and hope. Suzanne organizes and hosts monthly pro-life meetings and several events throughout the year that include training and are to educate and equip.

Suzanne mentors teens with EWOE [Elite Women of Excellence] and was on their board, teaches 5th grade Sunday school and taught in public high schools about sexual risk avoidance as a guest speaker for several years as she taught Choosing the Best Abstinence based curriculum. She served as President of the Cherokee County Right to Life for several years. She is on the board of Frontline Policy Council that advocates for conservative values at the Capitol and Suzanne lobbies at the Capitol for pro-life legislation. Suzanne has been interviewed by many news outlets and especially this past year has been contacted by numerous local TV stations in GA to comment on life-related issues like our heartbeat law, Roe being overturned, and more. She has shared their God story of hope on radio, podcasts, TV and recently was interviewed for World Magazine and that was published in their recent World Magazine.

In 2015, the Glenn Beck TV show featured her sharing her testimony. Suzanne and her daughter continue to be featured on TV, podcasts, radio and social media outlets as they bring a message of truth and love about the pro-life issue and message. She speaks about the value of all life, especially about those thought to be disposable like her daughter was considered to be by the medical field just because of a poor prenatal diagnosis. She resides in Marietta, Georgia with her wonderful husband, Peter, of almost 33 years.

Suzanne and her family have been interviewed by Lila Rose’s LiveAction, and Focus on the Family interviewed Suzanne, Peter, and Rachel in 2020 and featured their story. Suzanne was recently interviewed on Fox & Friends for Mother’s Day 2023 (her daughter has also been interviewed on Fox & Friends) about moms who were pressured to abort but chose life. Her favorite exhortation to the body of believers, which is her very heart is for the church to engage in the life issue and be that example of the Good Samaritan story in Luke as she exhorts the church every time she speaks to not walk on by but as the Good Samaritan did, have compassion and stop and make a difference as that preborn child is our neighbor too and so is that mom, dad, abortion worker and women and men that have had abortion experiences too. Suzanne believes there is a way for everyone to get involved in loving women in unplanned and crisis pregnancies (and especially in a Post-Roe world) by helping women see the hope and help available through local PRCs and the church.

Suzanne lobbied for our GA heartbeat bill the LIFE Act and she lobbies for other pro-life legislation at the Capitol.

Suzanne had the privilege of being the campaign manager for Rep. Ed Setzler, the author of our GA LIFE Act, and is involved politically seeking to bring awareness about the most pro-life candidates. Suzanne has a deep passion for showing moms in challenging circumstances that Jesus sees them and cares and that people of faith are here for them.
